Here's a little bit about us.

Scott Peters

Hi there! I've always been fascinated by history. I've created exhibits for the Smithsonian, Universal Studios and Disney World. My Kids Ancient Egypt blog is packed full of fun facts, hieroglyphics charts, and printable activities. I write children's books like Mystery of the Egyptian Scroll and the I Escaped Series. Ellie Crowe 

Ellie is a multi-award-winning author and a favorite with librarians around the world. Her books have been translated into multiple languages and have been featured on the History Channel and the Travel Channel. When she's not writing, she loves to spend time with her family.

Sharon SD Brown 

Sharon lives in Northern California with her spouse, her pets, about twenty-five fish and all sorts of wild critters that live in and around the creek behind her house. She owns and operates a rock and gem museum that's popular with school visits and travelers alike. When she's not writing, she collects rocks, hangs with friends, travel, AND she just love to sit, relax, and read.

Juliet Fry 

Juliet taught fourth grade in Boston, Massachusetts and high school English in California. She also worked as an elementary school librarian in California where she enjoyed recommending her favorite books to children. Her thesis was on how children learn vocabulary from high interest literature. She is a self-confessed history geek, enjoys reading, and loves writing historical novels.

The I Escaped Series

The I Escaped books are survival stories for kids age 9-12. They feature brave boys and girls who face real-world challenges and find ways to escape disaster. Available in paperback, hardcover, and ebook.

Each story runs around 115 pages and feature black and white illustrations in most chapters.
